Hand stitched fabric drawings, created during an artist residency in Muriwai, New Zealand. Each piece uses embroidery, appliqué, and collage techniques.

My dad was a commercial fisherman, and as a child my mom and I lived on ships with him. I took my first steps as a baby somewhere on the Bering Sea. I am not sure if my legs were this hairy.
